Hi Friends!

I am Lou, and I am the author of this blog. I am currently in the process of applying for master’s programs and do many odd jobs. God really pressed upon my heart to start Saved… But Now What? because I have struggled a lot this past year with theology and what do I believe. I never would have thought to post my experiences online because well, I hate writing about myself. However, God asks us to do things for Him that make us uncomfortable, and I pray that this blog is used for His glory.

I grew up in a Christian home, though we didn’t often discuss theology other than to say that one denomination is wrong and another is right. I have always gone to a Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) and am currently a member of a PCA. Many of the questions that I struggle with and have been (or hopefully will be) answered by my pastors or elders.

I come from a mixed faith background, which is what caused me to become interested in theology. My paternal grandparents are Southern Baptist, and my maternal grandmother is Roman Catholic. Both my parents converted when I was an infant; fun fact: I was baptized Catholic!

Now that we have some basic insight into my theology… the fun stuff! I have two dogs, and both are trouble. Yarbo is 6 years old and loves cheese. Cali is one and loves everything (no joke she drank my coffee once). I love to bake, knit, and occasionally paint, and currently I am attempting to make my own dress. My absolute favorite things to do are to read and watch movies, so send recommendations my way.

My prayer for all of us is that we are equipped to know God better and love Him more. My personal study of theology has helped me to do that, but most of all when I spend time with Him in His Word, I truly learn who my Creator, Father, and Redeemer is. I hope that anyone who reads this will learn to appreciate the Word of God and the knowledge that He grants us.

Blessings and Faith,

Lou
